The Arctic hotel markets across Northern Norway, Sweden, and Finland continue to demonstrate strong performance. According to CBRE’s latest Nordics Arctic Hotel Market Snapshot, occupancy during the 2025/26 winter season remained stable at 59%, while both hotel supply and demand have increased significantly compared to pre-pandemic levels.

The primary driver behind this growth is rising room rates. Average Daily Rate (ADR) increased to €166, helping RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room) reach €99 — bringing the region close to a historic milestone.

These results reflect growing international demand for unique Arctic winter experiences, as well as the destinations’ ability to attract guests willing to pay premium rates during the peak season.
